AMA was born from the reality that
farmworker women are not valued in our communities.

Our objective is to ensure that every farmworker woman excels in all aspects of her life.  We are sure that educated women, trained and self-assured, will be more prepared to serve her community, family and most importantly herself. In this way, she can create a better life.

According to the expressed needs of our community, we are focusing on the following themes:

  • Breast cancer education
  • Domestic violence
  • Sexual violence
  • Child care
  • AIDS
  • Teen pregnancy
  • English Language Classes
  • Leadership development
  • The development of a lay-health worker program
    • We invite you to share your knowledge with us.
    • We would be pleased to offer you our support.
    • We appreciate training opportunities for our community members.
.

Thank you for believing in the struggle and betterment of farmworker woman.
